Japan just got struck by a 7.0 earthquake? It is just the first day of 2012. How are we going to survive till 21st December. Honestly, I do not believe that the earth would end at 2012, but I'm going to stock up on food and put up a bug-out-bag anyway. One reason is because I think it is cool to be prepared, and you will never know if the May 13 incident repeats itself again.

Basically, a bug-out-bag is a bag which you will carry with you when SHTF ( Shit Hits The Fan) happens. What is SHTF? It is a term used by survivalist when a disaster strikes. A bug-out-bag is suppose to aid your survival for 72 hours in any possible way. The basic contents of a bug-out-bag are food, water, clothing, arms(If legal), shelter. I guess I'll put one up after the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Not sure why, but I feel super tired these few days. Mom saying shit like I'm not eating enough rice. To think that she is modern, she is saying things of what the older generation would say. Anyway, ride in Kiara yesterday was harder than usual maybe because I've been exercising for the pass few days. I almost knocked a kid down during my ride. That kid was running left to right, in a zig-zag pattern. I saw him about 100m in front of me, as I see him getting tired and resting awhile, I decided to make my move and cycle pass him. Out of the blue, he suddenly got his energy back and ran to my direction. In my mind, I was thinking, is he stupid or what?
Suddenly I realize, he is not going to move and is just going to stop in front of me. So yes, emergency brakes. There goes every last bit of my semi sleek tires. From my initial thoughts, now I'm thinking who are these kid's parents. They really fucked him up badly.

Then I noticed that the kids dad looked back and called for the kid. The dad didn't even scold the kid or apologize to me. What the hell indeed.

Anyway, I had the urge to go out today while I was sitting on my sofa. I was really looking forward to the movie 'Darkest Hour'. I ended up going out with my friends of the same age. They so happen to have an extra ticket. The movie had a good start and all but not a good ending. The concept of the movie is not too different than the documentary I watched this morning. In the movie, the humans used a strategy called asymmetric warfare which really interest me. The whole idea of asymmetric warfare is just.. SMART.

We went to the arcade right after the movie. Not sure what gotten into me, but I think I spent 11 bucks in the arcade. Most of the money were spent on air hockey. Went to Digital Mall after Tropicana City to pick up a mid-range heatsink for my CPU. When I opened the box containing the heatsink at home, the heatsink was somehow dented. Told my dad that we have to go back tomorrow to change it. In the mean time, I polished my brother's heatsink and my old pentium 4 processor. I only had up to 1000grid sandpaper, need to use a wet 2000 grid sandpaper to bring it to a mirror shine. Oh and not to forget, my dad bought me a used Quad core processor for RM200. That is the best price you can get out there

Yesterday was another day partially wasted. I slacked at home the whole morning and afternoon. I did nothing but read about my router and hacking Wifi. Took an hour-long-nap, I rarely take such long naps these days, but I woke up super early all prepared for badminton which was supposed to be at 8am. What happened was Raj pulled out after knowing that Melissa is not going. He won't go for anything unless there is a girl or two going. Bing Xi woke up late. So yea, did not get to play.

Went to Bukit Kiara in the evening. It has been awhile since I last cycled. After riding 2 rounds I was too lazy to push on to the third so I took a break at the hut. There, I met Azrul, I cycled with him along with one of his friends off road before. Previously, another larger group tagged along with us. Yesterday was a fairly quiet day. Not many cyclists. The both of us took a shorter version of the previous time. It was cut short by 20 minutes. Wasn't as tough as the other day, the trail was super dry.

We came out at 6.40pm. It gave me some time to stop by at my friend's place to pick up his used tire. Bought them for RM30, it was a real bargain. Although it is more than a year old, it was only used for a month or two.

I manage to watch an episode of 'Modern Marvels' today. Honestly, I use to think it was a boring show because the first episode I watch was about skyscrapers. Never knew that the show was in the buissness for so long. Started in 1996. I left my house for Bukit Kiara at 1.45pm. At 1pm, I hung my cycling pants in front of a fan, in desperation to dry it before I go out.

We cycled 2 rounds on tar mat road and up to the twin peak. We then came back down with the same trail up. It was quite a steep ride down, I was riding at a mean 25kmph? It was a chance for me to practice my handling as well as shifting my center of gravity. I almost got threw over my bike when i hit a bump right after a steep slope. As we cycled back, we unfortunately cycled into a rain storm. The rain was so heavy, I couldn't see anything 5meters away. We were separated after that. I was cycling really slowly because I fell somewhere along that highway last time. I waited for the rain to stop at SS2 Mcdonalds. I felt really cold, was shivering at that time.

Had a cup of warm coffee after I showered. Sometimes, after a day of enduring, you will find pleasure in the simplest things.

Went out to Digital Mall at section 14 with my dad to get a new external hard disk. I did not expect to bring home anything, my main agenda was to go and check-out the prices. Ever since the Thailand flood, all production of hard disks were on hold. Causing a global hard disk shortage. That is why, all the hard disks price sky rocketed. A month or two back, I bought my first Terabyte hard disk. Bought it at RM174, right now the market price is at an unbelievable RM3XX. Me and my dad walked around the mall searching for the cheapest price. Which is this Samsung G3 Station. Bought it from a store rather than a shop. They were selling it for RM2XX. I hesitated and walked away at first, then my dad asked me to turn around and buy it. He says I will never get back this price until they restart production which will take 6 months to a year.

Slept straight through several alarms. Thank god my maid woke me up or else I think I would be late again. Before I left, I was actually looking for my earphones. I was thinking of listening to some songs while waiting for Sabrina. By the time it was 10.20am, I still couldn't find it. So I just left the house without it. Turns out, she came earlier than me. We took U64 to OneUtama. In the bus, we exchanged gifts. I got her a reverse mount for her lens and she got me a snow globe and a hat, a claus hat. We watched Arthur's Christmas, it was a good movie. Thank god it was not one of those movies that are catered solely for kids. I didn't expect Arthur to be the next Santa.

We went straight to IPC right after the movie. It was a 10-minute-walk. The decorations were rather simple.I liked it but Sabrina did not. We had tea break at Ikea. I remember I use to eat the curry puffs there really often, about once a week. It was on my treat. The ice-cream there is no longer made by the staff. The new system is simple. At the counter, you will receive a token after you pay. You place the cone at the bottom of the machine and feed the token in to the machine. It does all the magic for you.

After our light meal, we went to Curve. The decorations there were superb. Got a new profile picture there, credits to Sabrina. We walked to Cineleisure after that. There was a huge-ass Christmas tree right in-front. We queued up for the free shuttle bus back to the station shortly after taking pictures of the tree. Even though today was fun and all, I was quite disappointed with the pictures I took with my 50mm. Pictures are just so much harder to take without IS. I had a hard time with composition while working with that fixed focal length for the whole day.

The day that many have anticipated is finally here. Many students and their parents were shitting bricks the whole week. While everyone was in school waiting for their PMR results, I was having my first aid course exam. To be honest, I only flipped through the notes a day before the exam. I was expecting it to be easy. But when I actually read the notes earlier today, I freaked out a little. By then, I was really doubting if I would pass or not. Turns out, the theory paper was fairly easy. Much easier than the PBSM paper. Almost similar to the JPAM paper. Everything went well except for the CPR part. The examiner asked me a lot of questions just to pressure me. Honestly, I was guessing all the way, till the last few questions, I was frank enough to say "I don't know".

After the exam, I cycled to my grandparents' place to change to my school uniform before collecting my results in school. I was one of the last to be entertained by Mr.Narul. Honestly, I did not think much after I got my results. Stayed in school to catch up with my friends for a while. Then I saw Charmaine running to me with the All-Stressed-Out face. First thing she said to me was, 'Justin, can you cycle back to Yuk Chai?' I was stunned for a while then I thought to myself, she probably left something there. True enough she added: 'Please Justin, I left my phone there' Honestly, I wished I could have helped her but I was feeling bad for being 40-50minutes late for breakfast with Yujing and Sabrina. I told Charmaine to call Yujing to ask if he could help since he stay really close to Yuk Chai. She hesitate and said that he would scold her. So I ended up calling Sabrina for her.

A while later I got good news from her. Not only they found the phone but they found my long-lost diffuser. I actually ordered one yesterday, I faced the fact that I may not see it ever again. I went home after that to take a shower before meeting the rest up at Kelana Jaya Station at 12.50pm. Shortly after I got there, the bus arrived. We watched Sherlock Holmes. I really do not remember much from the movie because I fell asleep in the halfway throughout the movie. I'm pretty sure it is the medicine that the doctor prescribed me with.

After the movie, we went to the arcade for a while. It has been awhile since I played Daytona. I use to suck at that game but to my surprise, I was first. We chilled at a mamak nearby the station while playing cards after the mall.

When I got home, I felt brave and 'balls-ful' enough to do something about my leg. I can feel fluids building up in the cavity between my toe flesh and the nail. It got worst as the day passed . I was ready to pierce a red hot needle through my nail. As I was sterilizing the needle, my dad walked in. He immediately stopped me and asked to have dinner before bringing me to the doctor. I requested the doctor to pierce the nail for me. I felt pain the moment he wiped my toe with alcohol. It wasn't burning, it was more of a blunt pain.

As he makes his way through the nail with the needle, I was holding the sides of the bed tightly. I was shivering as the needle got deeper. Suddenly, I felt this sharp prick, My whole body jerked driving my toe towards the needle. It poked through not only the nail but went in the nail. It was painful but I was relieved. I could see the fluid oozing out of the tiny whole the doctor just made.

Regret not doing anything to my toe while it was sore and reddish. When I woke up this morning, it turned blue. It is black now. All I can do now, is sit and egg my toe. Yes egging, a traditional remedy to cure bruises. It is done by wrapping a cloth around an egg and putting it at the bruised area. I guess it helps by allowing blood clot to flow.

Hello people, just came back form camp, a jungle camp. This is the third time I've been to Templer's park this month. Honestly, this camp is lack of man power and skillful people. I wouldn't say that I am skillful, but in this camp, I did not have a chance to slack. During the previous camps, I could depend on Yew Leung or Kin Cheng but not this time.

Anyway, I followed Michelle's car since her mom was willing to fetch us there. It was only 4 of us, me, Siva, Michelle and PhuayYee. Me and the girls hiked up to the campsite first leaving Mr. Siva along with the other equipment. First thing we did when we arrived was the usual, which is to clean up the campsite and get rid of the fallen leaves.

An hour later, I receive a call from Mr. Siva asking me to go down and help out the others to carry the equipment up to the campsite. I hesitated because it took me a while to get to the campsite now you want me to go back down. I sort of ran all the way down empty handed. First time running down, took me 10 minutes only. When I got down, everyone was using the toilet. So, I ate half of my breakfast which I think already turned bad.

By the time all of us got up to the campsite, we were already 2 hours behind schedule. So, we had to go out to chop bamboo without resting. We were only able to complete our sleeping place at 3.00am. I had to do night-guard duty till 4 with Yujing. I woke up at 7.00am, which means I got at most 3 hours of sleep which is considered quite good in camp.

In the afternoon, me and Yujing continued chopping bamboo. By the time we got back tot eh campsite, there were a lot more people than I expected. We got quite a lot of scolding from Sir Vincent because our equipment was not sharp enough. He even went to the next level by asking Yujing to chop his chest with all the axes and parangs we had. That was the time I realized my own personal parang was missing. I was really disappointed and sad. Because the previous camp, I took my dad's Stanley© Measuring tape and broke it.

Before dinner, Sir Alwin asked me to build a tripod table before we could start eating. I really felt the pressure because we screwed up our backwoodsman and everyone was hungry. At that time, no one was free to help me I sawed every piece of it by myself. Michelle and Sir Alwin helped with the tying. After dinner, we had our Malam Kebudayaan AKA bond fire. I was suppose to pass the torch to Mr. Siva but as soon as the flaming torch was directly above the pile of petroleum soaked wood, everything just exploded into flames. There was a wave of blue flames traveling on the ground. Cool but dangerous.

We did not really plan for an sketch so what we did was tell what happened from the first our of camp to the present. We even did a forecast of the future. We did our survival night which I was looking forward to before camp, but not so much during. After our survival night, Sir Alwin told us that if we could not finish 15 gadgets by the next morning inspection, we will be punished. It was 3.30am already. I was too sleepy to do anything. So what I did was went to bed. Yujing woke me up at 5.00am. I started work on my bamboo cup and bamboo water container. at 5.30am, I woke Michelle and Phuay Yee up.

By morning inspection, we had 16 gadgets up. We still got punished anyway, I guess life is unfair that way. I was actually counting the number of hours left till we get home. We took public transport home. So happen that the bus driver of the bus we rode was the same as the other day. We then transit to Masjid Jamek line and to home. I can't describe how good I felt putting my sore hands on cold metal poles. It is just so good. I reached home at 5.30pm. Was suppose to take an hour nap before the attending the BBQ party to celebrate Soon Way's birthday in front of my house. Turns out that I over slept. I went to the BBQ at 8.00pm. They were done eating. Everything was in a mess. Plates and food were everywhere. If we did this in scouts, we would probably be dead.

Did I tell you how much I hate waking up late? Anyway, when I got up today, it was almost 11. Almost half of the day wasted. Went on Skype with Michelle to settle some first aid course things. I went for lunch shortly after that. After lunch, I washed my bike. It is the first time I washed it since I bought the bike. Quite a lot of dirt have built up around the disc and brake pads. In fact, I think the disc got scratched because I used the brakes despite the dirt there. I used diesel to wipe the cassette and the derailleur.

After cleaning, I went Pasar Road/ Electronic road (as some calls it) with my dad. Agenda was to buy LED's for my bicycle and a Lead Acid Battery replacement for my UPS, Uninterupted Power Supply. It is for my computer. What is does is, when there is a blackout or a trip, my computer will continue running on battery for a minute or 2. Enough time to save any important work/projects and safely shut down. Cool eh?

While walking, I saw this man selling Carbon Fiber Vinyls, couldn't resist. I had to buy it. As I continue walking, I realize almost all the shop carry such a stock. All selling at exactly the same price. Before going home, I got the LEDs. Slightly different than the old one. Anyway, I started thinking of what to wrap in Carbon Fiber during my journey home. After some brainstorming, I chose my mouse. Originally, there was a coat of rubber on the mouse, it faded over the years. After cutting out a piece of the vinyl, I was thinking to myself, how am I going to wrap it. I went to google: ' How to use Carbon Fiber Vinyl'. I watched a video, he used a heat gun.

I grabbed a hair dryer for standby. At first, it was really messy. I slowly worked my way through the whole mouse. Using the hair dryer to soften the vinyl at the same time. When I was finally done, I was impressed. Very few flaws. It looks quite professional.

pretty late last night because I took an afternoon nap. I think I only had about 5 hours of sleep. Saw a text from Alwin to bring a flysheet. Since all the flysheets are at Yujing's place, I phoned him. He was already on his way to the station. So, Too Bad. I was kind of in a rush, I only grabbed a thin plastic bag for my camera. Didn't bring anything else besides my camera, tripod and 1L of water. We, along with Siva, took the train to Sentral and transit to KTM to rawang. Have I mentioned I hate the KTM? I tried to sleep in the train, I was slipping in and out of conciousness. Next thing I know, I hear this siren. I woke up and looked around, there was nothing wrong, no one was panicking or rushing out of the train, so back to sleep.

When we got to Rawang, we had a drink at PapaRich. Waited for Alwin for I think what was like 20-30 minutes. When he came, he told us what he wanted us to do in the camp, and what not to do. He drove us to the Templer's Park. We stopped by at the Selangor scouts headquaters because I wanted to get some books as well as a badge. It started raining the same time we started hiking. Pure luck or just the work of The Adjustment Bureau.

Despite the rain, it did not stop us, we continued pushing on. By the time we passed the second campsite, it was raining cats and dogs. I was leading by about 5 meters from the others and I can't hear anything despite them shouting. I was super worried for my camera which is just in a super thin plastic bag which I grabbed before leaving home. When we found the third and hidden campsite, it was really hidden. It was covered by a fallen tree. We had to clear it before getting in. The campsite looks really dirty, but Alwin says that once we clean it up, it is going to look like home.

Personally, I really don't like that campsite and I think it is a really bad idea. I'm guessing Alwin is feeling nostalgic from his scouting days, that is why he has this strong attachment with the campsite. I got the feeling that a wild boar will pay us a visit during the camp. Anyway, we hiked down after inspecting the campsite. The trail look super different. It looks more like a stream than a trail.

We went to this expedition and camping shop somewhere in Rawang after that. Saw this super lightweight hammock, it is not only light weight, but the material is waterproof and it is cheap. My main concern is whether it can hold my weight or not. Out side the shop, I rolled up my pants to check for leeches, I was in for a shock. There were 5 leeches on me. 3 were HUGE ASS, the size of half of my thumb. I put it on the ground. It didn't move fast because it was super bloated. I used a rock so smash all of the fat ones. It went *SPLAT* blood flew in all directions. Was super disgusting, not sure why did I even do it, probably out of rage. We went to clean ourselves up at Alwin's house before having lunch at 4pm. I had to wrap the leech bites with a generous amount of paper towel.

When I got home, blood was still pouring out of those bites. These leeches must have injected a serious amount of anti-coagulant. I replaced the dressing and tied a bandage super tight around the area to give it pressure. It sort of worked until it started spilling out blood again at night. Till now, tiny amount of blood is still dripping out.

Have been waiting for today since a while. I went to PC fair with my dad. I always look forward to PC fair, I get quite fascinated by the newest technology. We spent almost an hour in just the AMD/ATI lounge. They had water-cooling out for display and also gaming setups with as many as 5 screens running simultaneously. They had an Over-clock workshop which I was actually looking forward to, so I waited in the lounge for about 30minutes. But to be frank, he only covered very basic stuff. I ditched it halfway through.

For some odd reason, there were very few people this year. Not many shoulder-to-shoulder places. I remember it used to be like a mosh pit where it was a free for all and everyone were pushing their way through. My dad was really close to buying a new TV. But then I told him to wait till our's spoils. It would be really cool if we have gotten a new TV. That way, I can play my downloaded movies at ease.

I bought a cheap Mp3 player. It was those dirt-cheap-electronics-from-China-that-don't-really-work. I thought that it would be a better/decent player. My expectations and hopes were to high. Thank god it only costed me RM29. I think it is time I need an Ipod. My old Mp3 player was one of the first of it's kind. I think it was during 2005. Something is wrong it, it eats battery like I drink water. Maximum runtime is only about 30-40minutes? The screen is also busted, there is an ant trapped between the screen and the window, eats battery like how I drink water.

Went to badminton at 10.40am. Had to wait for Neshan to go home first. Really hate that bastard. I got really pissed initially because there were no shuttlecocks lying around when I got there. I asked if they needed any before I left and they clearly said no. Most of them were really warned out already, so I had to bare with them. After a while of playing, I got tired. I was as weak as them by then. By the time we finished, it was almost time for church.

My cell group wanted a CG party, so I was in-charge of drinks. On my way home from badminton, I stopped by at one of those speed marts to get a pack of 12. Went home to shower and get my camera. I really didn't have much time. When I got to church, everyone was already sitting in a circle. I guess I was a little late. What we did was eat and play. We played this game which is really similar to charades. Honestly, I suck at that game. I didn't score a single point.

So, that is about it. We didn't really have much time. Before I went home, everyone wanted a picture. I was hesitating a little because they were actually taking their time to pose. My dad was already outside and I hate making people wait. But since they already posed so, what the heck.

In the evening, I went cycling at Bukit Kiara as usual. They started to build stuff in the off-road trails. A huge fence was actually in between the 'Magic Carpet' Trail. What a waste. That was actually a good trail for beginners and they had to destroy it.

Anyway, I didn't really have much time today as I left home late. I could only do one lap. I pushed myself quite hard I would say. I manage to complete the lap in sub 8 minutes. Quite satisfied with that result.

Met up at Taman Bahagia at 8.00am, I was the earliest. Mr Siva pulled out because of his cousin. Second one there was YuJing. By the time Poh Yee got there, it was 8.20am, Malaysian timing indeed. We took the Putra line to KL Sentral and transit to KTM. Our stop was Rawang. From there, we had to walk what I think was 100meters to the bus stop. We did not have to wait as the bus was already there. It took another 40 minutes or so before we arrived at Templer's. We actually got down one stop earlier because of me. We ended up walking an additional 500meters to the park itself. We had lunch before entering the jungle. It was relatively expensive for a plate of fried noodles, after all it is just a road side store. A sunny side up fried egg cost RM2.

When we started hiking, I was actually rushing through the vegetation and uneven grounds because I was suppose to have the meeting at 1.00pm. Only after we saw the campsite, I started slacking and slowing down. The ugly truth strikes me, that it is impossible to make it home by 1.00pm. We continue trekking up to the waterfall. Saw a few DJ scouts but they were not exactly friendly. We didn't really spend much time at the waterfall. I made a bamboo bow which was kind of a failure. While we were hiking down, I finally see someone I know which was Oliver See. Did not expect to see him there, he was carrying up a load of bread to the waterfall, so I guess they are having a picnic there.

The Senduduk. One of the most useful/common plant found in Templer's Park. It's berries taste good and are packed with Vitamin C, it's leaves can clot blood very effectively, the plant itself is good for people who are suffering from a fever, diabetes or high blood pressure.

When we got out of the jungle, we still had to wait for a bus. It took us back to Kota Raya, from there, we took the LRT back to Taman bahagia. My mom picked us up from Phuay Yee's home. Before that, we had to wait a while for Sabrina. We had the clean up session before the meeting. I turned on the pump assisted water system. It made washing an ease and enjoyable. Too bad the others had no spare clothes or else we would have played with water.

I used the electrical sharpener to sharpen the machetes/parang and axes. If you are wondering why do I own a electrical sharpener, you are in for a treat. My dad bought it to sharpen those huge-ass scissors my mom use for gardening. It is a pain to sharpen it manually because of the angle, and it is quite costly to throw it away when it gets blunt. So, yea.

We had our post camp meeting after that. Made chocolate malt drinks for them. They were the first friends that I have over my place after a long time. Is not that I have no friends, but I don't really like having people over. Maybe because I think my house is messy.

Looked forward for this day. Went out with Sabrina for Breaking Dawn and Village Park. We were suppose to meet up at TC by 10am. But guess who woke up late? Anyway, we finally met up at 11.30am. I was there by 11 but I was distracted by this shoe shop that I have not seen before in TC.

We went on to buy our tickets for Breaking Dawn. Initially when I looked at the screen it says RM14. I thought it was the price of one ticket. I was thinking why in the world is it so expensive. But then I thought to myself, since we are here we might as well enjoy this. Only later, I realize that my mind is playing tricks on me. It was RM14 for 2.

After that, we went out of TC and took a 10-minute-walk to Village Park, Uptown. Known to be the place that serves the best Nasi Lemak in town. It was my first time trying it, I was skeptical that it was that great and stuff. But I have to say, it was not bad indeed, though I prefer the traditional packet Nasi Lemak. Surprisingly, when I was done, I realized my plate was really clean. No leftovers like sambal,yolk,etc.

We went back to the mall after lunch. Went to Borders to check out the photo mags. Read about ND and Polarizers, at least right now, I have a better picture of Natural Density filters. I was planning to get into the theaters at 2. so we will have 10 minutes of trailers to watch. But in reality, the movie started at 2. So we sort of missed the first minute or so of the movie. It was a no biggie to Sabrina I guess.

I guess I would say the movie was not as good as the previous, New Moon. In fact, it kinda suck. But the story is still interesting. We went to borders after the movie to continue reading. We left borders at 5 so that I could get something to eat and we will be waiting for the bus by 5.30. I noticed that there were no one at the spot we waited. So that sort of drew my suspicion that we were at the wrong place.

About 25 minutes later, we saw the bus driving away, only to realize that we just missed it. We had to wait a whole hour for the next one. Eventually, we did get on to the bus. By the time I got home, I think it was about 7.30? I went online to sort of look for ND filters. Found out there was a sale. Quite decently priced. So since there was a sales, I thought to my self, Hey, how about buying all the photo gear that I always wanted one shot which includes, a reverse mount, 52mm-67mm male to male ring, extension tubes, Cokin P series and a lens pouch for my 50mm. Everything, including my pending bicycle lights adds up to staggering RM150. I guess I'll have to cash out earlier this year for christmas.

I guess I should add a new processor in to bu to-buy list too.

For some reason, I feel moody today. Maybe I'm just tired or something. I went to apply for a new credit card at OCBC earlier at noon. Parking was a hassle. The whole procedure was rather quick. I think it was about 15 minutes. After that, me and my mom went for lunch at Sate Kajang Haji Samuri in Uptown. That was the first time I ate satays other than Beef and Chicken. I hate cow belly, Chicken liver and rabbits. And yes RABBITS. My favourite was the Cow's belly. It was super tender. I ordered only one. I was hesitating at first. The Rabbit Satay was not too bad, tastes just like chicken but tougher. Livers, not my thing. After lunch, I went to the dentist to scale my teeth. It was getting really yellow. I actually felt pain during scaling. I don't remember it being so pain in the pass. I feel a little strange when I ate biscuits after the scaling.

In the evening, I went to cycle. As usual, Bukit Kiara. I guess that is still the most accesseble place to me by bike. On my way up the off road trail, It was really slippery. Despite wearing my Timberland shoes which has non-slipping properties, I had a few close calls. Normally I wouldn't be able to finish the whole journey from the park to the hills by bike, I had to get down a few times. But today, I made it to flat grounds UNTIL, I spotted a tortoise! A TORTOISE. I actually stopped to watch it for around 10 minutes. Gave it a cookie and I went off. I took a trail that I have not taken in a year. A lot has changed. No more big trees. Since it rained an hour before I went, It was super muddy, my wheels kept sinking into mud and my tires kept skiing.

Anyway, I got a new personal best today. I manage to cycle 1 lap in 8 minutes. My usual timing is 10. Quite satisfied with the results. :)

As you all can see, my holiday is packed. At least now, I'm not as stressed as the week before. My camp is over. Now, all I have to do is settle the first aid course. I guess that it would be relatively easy since it doesn't involve any scouters. Honestly, sick of dealing with them. My camp turned out fine. I wasn't really out of my comfort zone, yet I still could cope. I would say it is a normal camp not a leisure camp. Highlights of the camp was, the chicken fight(water) and Fire breathing, yes fire breathing. Kerosene mixed with air = HUGE ASS FIREBALL. While everyone was pitching up the tents and setting up the flysheet, I was busy trying to smoke the area to get rid of the bugs.

After numerous failed attempts, I helped out to set up the HQ. We were behind schedule ever since then. I'm not going to elaborate on the first day because first day of almost all camps are the most boring. Anyway, I got to sleep on Poh Yee's hammock at night. I suspended a flysheet over my head with just one string. Poh yee was saying it is a stupid idea because I will feel super hot in there. She was right at first when I went I tried to sleep. Super stuffy. So I sort of pushed the flysheet to one side. In the middle of the night, it rained at 3.00am. I was shivering like how Sabrina shivered in the river. But still, I went back to sleep without taking my sleeping bag from the tent. At 5am, Gabriel woke me up by accident. At first I didn't feel anything. Then for somewhat 10 seconds later, I started shivering again.

at 6.00am, we had our morning exercise. After breakfast, we went jungle trekking. I stayed at the back with Adrian. We were taking our own sweet time observing the beauty of nature :) I would say, it was a really leisure walk, something like FRIM. After that, we went to the pool(a river with a small dam). The initial plan was to play water rugby but there were too many rocks. Even in the first round, I scraped off some skin from my feet, and yes it hurt. We switched games to this chicken fight/ wrestling sort of game. A person will sit on another person's shoulder while trying to push another pair off their balance in the water. It was a fun game indeed. Besides having to be choked by water a few times. At one time, my chin got hooked by Phuay Yee's feet so I went back down under water while breathing. I'm sure that is called drowning. In the afternoon, backwoodsman which I failed miserably. In fact, no one succeeded. It was actually my fault because I asked Kristal to buy the coconut with husk on. I ate some chicken from the 3 pieces that we actually successfully BBQ-ed. It tasted damn good. But shortly after that, I could feel my tummy churning. So I had to stop. I continued on by instructing others to do their jobs, I really feel bad because everyone was really drained and it was supposed to be leisure camp. In the evening, I got Kin cheng to start digging a huge-ass hole to make the Fiji oven while I stack the fire wood for the campfire. I got so caught up that I really didn't feel like eating. At that time, food just looked disgusting to me. I skipped dinner and continued on with the campfire. I'm not sure who gave the idea, but we had to fire breathe to light the campfire. I think I was the second one in line. I heard about fire breathing somewhere before. I think it was from TV. Some said I coughed out a big big ball of flame, but honestly, I couldn't see the size of it.

We had our games after that, We had the usual night walk game which I think is getting boring. One game that I really wanted to play but didn't was 'Darling, I love you'. Not going to explain but somehow, I love that game. Halfway during the campfire, I had to prepare the box for the fiji oven. I used a biscuit box. I utilized my Buck knife to cut the holes out, it was a really dumb move. Because of that, some part of the blade chipped off. We finished up all our activities by 2.20am. I had night guard duty so I continued staying up. Lucky for me, my homies wanted to play cards. Stayed up till 3 and I slept on the spot. This time, with my sleeping bag. I remembered talking to charmaine while she was boiling red bean soup. But honestly, I was not replying with my full attention as I was already half asleep. I would consider it as sleep talking, if she asked me anything personal I guess I would just spill it out without knowing.

The next day, It was clean clean clean. We cleaned up the whole campsite. We cooked our own breakfast. I decided to cook for my patrol since Phuay Yee was busy with the kitchen and Yujing says he doesn't have a clue how to cook. Honestly, I think I cooked quite well for my patrol. So, Poh yee, being the smart ass asked me to cook an additional 2KG of rice. 2KG is like one whole big pot. I would say it is enough to feed 10. It turned out really bad because when I was frying it, it was super heavy, so I guess that it got smashed against each other by it's own weight. It turned out like rice cakes instead of fried rice.

About a week ago, I witness my first jump-start.
Wikipedia:
A jump start, also called a boost, is a method of starting an automobile or other vehicle powered by an internal combustion engine when the vehicle's battery has been discharged. A second battery (often in another vehicle) is temporarily connected to provide starting power to the disabled vehicle. Once the disabled vehicle's engine is running, its alternator or generator should recharge the dead battery, so the second battery can be disconnected after the engine starts.

The battery in my mom's car died. She first complained that it was difficult to start her car earlier at work. So my father wanted to give it a go and use her car to pick me up from tuition. When I got in to the car, it didn't start. So yes, my dad had to call for backup, which is my mom. She drove another car to help my dad. She didn't have a clue what is jump start. So my dad demonstrated. Honestly, even though it was my first jump start, I knew how it worked. He connected the 2 jumper cables to it's respective terminal and asked my mom to start the car. Yet, it didn't start.

I told my father that you have to change to neutral gear and step on the pedal to give it some RPM. He said something like if the secondary vehicle has higher CC than the disabled vehicle, then that is not needed. He finally did what I said after numerous failures, which did the trick.

Here is the problem, the battery is clearly showing signs of corrosion

Friday- Went out with Sabrina for a movie, In Time. It became one of my favourite movies. After the movie, we walked around One Utama. We ended up walking in circles. We had to take the cab home because she had to get home early. I really enjoyed myself. Especially the movie.

Saturday- I called for a meeting among my camp participants. I briefed everyone about what it is like and what to bring. I asked for opinions, regarding food and activities. We had a COH meeting right after the camp meeting. I couldn't resist since we were in McDonald's. I bought a burger, a Big Mac set to be exact. Anyway, my plan of having no responsibilities for next year is going well. I'm not PL or APL. After the meeting, I went back home to sleep. I only slept for 20 minutes. By 5, I was headed to Bukit Kiara. As I was going up the hill, got the urge to go off road. So well, I did. I took the route to the twin peak, I never really finished the route. Normally I'll go up for like 10 minutes and turn around. But that day, I gave myself 20 minutes. If I wasn't at the peak by 5.30, I would turn around. So that was what happened. On my way down, I met these 2 cyclist. I asked them if I could follow. 2 minutes later, they were not in sight anymore. I was alone again. Then, I met this Italian man, he agreed to bring me up to the peak and take me down the downhill trail. I really had fun during the downhill, for some parts, I was not ready. So I had to get off my bike and push manually.

Sunday- Woke up early all excited for the camp equipment sales in Jaya One. I was so hyped out because I heard that they were selling Deuter. The moment I stepped into the hall I was in cloud nine. It was a really big sales. Everything was worth buying. I ended up buying a Cycling bag, Bicycle front tube bag, First aid kit, Chalk bag, Pocket knife. The total bill was RM400. I guess I have to work to pay my mom back even if she doesn't ask. I don't like owing people. In the afternoon, I went out to the PC Expo with my dad. I bought a an 8GB SDHC Class 6. Thats all I got. My dad bought a new keyboard and mouse. Later that day, I took my new cycling bag (Deuter Race) for a ride. I went to Bukit Kiara pretty late. It was 5.30 when I got there. I wasn't planning to go off road. My main goal of the day was, NOT TO STOP. It was a really leisure ride. I was on the lowest gear ratio possible. I went on my usual 2 rounds and that's it. No sore legs when came back.

Monday- Woke up like 8.30 because it was too cold. I took out my sleeping bag, crawled into it, and went back to sleep. I finally got out of my bed at 9. Left my house for church at 10.15. They were organizing some event called 'Little Indians'. My father happened to have coupons. So we just went there and spent it all. After all, I'm pretty sure it is for charity. I brought my dad to Jaya one to see the sales. He bought this pouch for his bible. I bought a streamer. Found a lower priced on compared to yesterday. I went Mad Monkeyz after that. I brought along my new chalk bag. I bought 60g of chalk there for 8 bucks. The manager, Jayee was kind enough to give me a new socks/pantyhose to store all my chalk before putting it into the chalk bag. The routes were fun and everything, but there were too many people. Super annoying. Wasn't really in the mood to climb, there were these group of newbies who was not considerate at all. They just climb freestyle regardless whether there are people using the route. They were jumping around, doing their so called parkour. Pissefying.

Today wasn't just a day in school.I went on a trip to One Academy, an arts and design academy. While waiting for the bus to arrive, I was asked for help by Raj. He somehow broke the door nob from the door to the PA room. He was in deep shit if he couldn't open him. So what I did at first was to pick the lock open. It was too dark, I barely know what was I doing. So I took out my card knife and started prying what remains of the door nob off. I was actually making progress until someone said that the bus came. We had to leave the PA door for someone else to settle. When we arrived at Sunway, everyone was pestering the teachers to bring them to Sunway pyramid for a few minutes. But obviously, teachers will never do such a stupid thing.

The academy was within walking distance, when I first got there I was thinking why is it so small. But in fact, the academy is pretty cool, it occupies the top levels of the entire row of shop lot. Saw a few of the student's work there, was really impressed. Most importantly, we got free food. Basically everything was paid for by the academy. Anyway, on my way from the bus to the building, I thought I lost my lens cap. I was searching EVERYWHERE. In the end, I found it in my shirt pocket.

When I got home, I took a nap. I wanted to wake up at 3. But as usual, I overslept. I didn't know I was that tired. Anyway, I wanted to go Bukit Kiara, but my mom didn't pick up. The rule is that I have to inform her I go, so someone knows my game plan unlike Aaron Ralston . So what I did was to complete one of the task on my to-do list, which was to pick up a radiator. I cycled to somewhere near Tropicana City to get the radiator. I was a Kancil radiator. It costed me RM20.

Aloha people, I have a few things running in my mind now, which are:
1) My leisure camp. I'm not sure how am I going to lead the camp and what to expect due to the poor response of it.
2) Bicycle lighting. I won a bid for a flashlight for RM62.97, it is, I would say, reasonable for that particular flashlight. It is not a bike-light but a tactical flashlight with a Cree XML-T6 diode. What I'm worry about is how many amperes is it running on. Besides that, I'm working on a 12V underglow lighting system for my daily bike. The whole problem with the system is that it is running off a 3kg battery, I'm not willing to spend on the lighter li-on batteries.
3) Case modding. I'm having trouble finding Legos for my case mod, since my theme is Lego. I focusing on watercooling now. My main concern is the waterblock. I believe I can make my own waterblock from aluminium pipes but it wont be that efficient.
4) Adding an additional buzzer for my doorbell in the kitchen and upstairs.

It has been awhile since I update. At first I was giving the excuse that I needed to study, but now, after PMR, I'm just plain old lazy. I participated in the OCBC ride around KL. I was reluctant to go at first. But after much convincing from Sabrina, I decided to give it a shot. Went there the day before to utilize the bike storage facility. There were some stores by Shimano, Polygon and many more. There was this particular Shimano cycling pants that caught my attention, I ended up buying it for not less than RM150. On day of the event, my mother made me come like one and a half hour earlier than the flag off time. So, I was there at 4:50am. I was like the only one. There were not more than 50 people on the field at that time. So I waited for the mechanic to align my brakes. After that, I was kinda lost. Not knowing what to do. It was 5:50am at that time. I saw a bunch of people walking and I followed them. They went into the the flag-off gates to wait. It that half an hour did not feel long at all. When they started the flag off, they flagged category A off first, which is the faster ones. They flagged my category off the last which is D, also known as the leisure riders. There was a 15 minute gap between the flag-off of A and D. It did not matter much at the start to me. Anyway, I cycled as fast as I could on the first lap, wasting precious energy my braking at sharp turning points and pedaling down hill. When I got to Bukit nanas ( part of the route), I was already half dead. But I was determined not to stop. When I got to the downhill fall, I cycled really slowly in order to rest as much as possible. During the third lap, I started having cramps on my legs. I flushed down a bottle of 100 plus thinking that the electrolytes will do it's job. During the forth lap, you could see drivers were getting impatient and some were on RAMPAGE. They drove into the cycling lane not caring about the safety of us. By the time I got to the lap marker, I noticed the lapping gate was closed. We were forced to go to the finish line. I was one of the first to reach, I could hear the others saying that they stopped the race. Seconds later, you could see the A category coming in, they came in later than us because they finished the fifth lap. I got my medal and everything, but I'm still not satisfied. I'm very sure I'll join next year.

I walked up Genting the other day and stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights. Had loads of fun. Was scared of the corkscrew at first, but continued on for the second round, third, fourth and finally the twelfth time. I sat on the space shot too, despite hearing so many stories about fatal accidents. At first, when I was at the peak staring at the whole of Genting, the ride jerked, I assumed that we were falling. I remember thinking to myself, hey, this is not too bad. I asked Edmund, he was sitting next time me, ' are we falling yet?'. Before I could finish the sentence, the ride was falling at full speed. You could feel the G force, you'll find it difficult to breath with your lungs. I just hold my breath. It was an amazing experience.

Anyway, I just came back from state camp. It was a different experience? We had to stay up the first night to write part of our logbook. During the day, we would have courses. We learnt about risk management and first aid. The thing I find funny is that Yen Lin wrote 200+ pages of logbook to pass, I only wrote 25 pages. Our entire district passed the test. I was a little nervous that I wouldn't.

365th post. Today, when I first got to school. I was asking myself, why in the world did I come. But after the drama that was acted by the form 6s during the assembly, everything changed. The day changed from boring to FUN. The drama was presented quite nicely. En Zol was laughing his ass off. When we got back to class, there were no teachers. So as usual, we messed around. I took quite a lot of pictures of people messing around and also group pictures. After recess, we somehow lost the mood to do anything. We decided to play cards. But we only manage to play one round, it was too risky. After an hour of stoning. It was back to fooling around. I decided to experiment with some video angles. We ended up making a short video of us exercising in class. I would say it is not too bad for the first video that I've filmed with my 60D. I took 2 hours for post production. I still remember how to use the editing software.

It has been a while since I last updated. Skipped school today again. Woke up at 8.30am. Continued snoozing for an hour. When I actually woke up, I stoned in front of the computer. About an hour later, I decided that I was going to watch a movie. Was about to watch Cowboys & Aleins but it loaded too slow. I watched Fast 5 instead. The quality was really bad. But the plot was great.

Good movie, rate it 4.5/5. Too bad there won't be any more Fast and the Furious. Had Spaghetti for lunch. Had it with a pork sausage from Euro Deli. Went up to study for about half an hour. I fell asleep after that. Not productive at all, maybe because I'm not in the mood to study. Too bad, everyone I know including people that don't usually study are in nerd mode. Thats a lose for me D;

Woke up earlier than usual today. Woke up at 6.30am. Went back to sleep till 6.45am. We were suppose to be in school by 6.45am but who gives a nut? I arrived at school at 6.50am. Was really blur at the start. Went in front of the canteen to line up according to bus. I see a number of people with DSLRs. Makes me feel devalued. I hate it when people buy a DSLR just to show off and end up using auto. Anyway back to the trip. We board the bus not long after lining up. This is like the first trip I went that the bus actually came earlier than me.

Sat next to Beverly during the ride. Our first stop was at my favourite rest stop on the Karak. Genting Sempah. Maybe it is just the feel of it I don't know. It just excites me. Ate a burger, I gave away my hash brown because i had 2 really annoying ulcers. We continued our trip to Rhaub. We went to this nut factory. It wasn't very big. We got to see the process of producing ground nuts? I bought this cordial sort of drink there. Its easy to make and cost me RM10.

We went to this To-fu factory next. It is also a small scale factory. The weather wasn't the best and the owner was talking in chinese. I don't like listening to talks in chinese. Walk out, took some pictures of scrap metal. Beverly took some pictures of pretty flowers and a dog. At this point, I was telling myself, this is boring.

We went on to the Elephant Sanctuary next. It was bored as hell. Some guys were obsessed over foreigners in bikinis. I wasn't in a mood to be interested in anything except taking photos. I did not even ride on any of the elephants. I was just hoping that lunch will be served as soon as possible. I met the tour guide while loitering around. He said that we can either watch the elephants bath or go for lunch. Of course i chose lunch. The moment i walked out of the sanctuary, I experienced what is called a flash back. I remembered coming here before but I couldn't remember when. I couldn't even remember seeing a single elephant or who I came with.

I was glad to get on the bus and I enjoyed the air-cond. I slept most of the way home. Well as I said, if wasn't for Beverly, the trip would suck because I would have no one to talk to. I'll give it a 6 over 10.

Went to my bloody BM tuition today. Sabrina text-ed me that she wanted go out at 1.00pm. I contacted Michelle, Phuay Yee and Yu Jing. Despite the last minute planning, everyone I called showed up. How I wish I could do that for marching. As I walked in to the mall. I notice that I was being followed. In order to stay cool, I decided to not look back. For some reason I was quite sure It was Sabrina. We went to line up at GSC to get tickets. After lining up for 15 minutes, there weren't any seats left. We then hung around outside of GSC. Phuay Yee and her ' hot friend', Martin Lee came. Thankfully, Martin had a GSC credit card which allowed him to use the priority lane. We waited till 2.10pm in order for the reserved tickets to be released.

After buying the tickets, we waited for Michelle Lum as she was running late. Since our seats were separated, I had to seat with Yu jing in the cinema. I saw an opportunity to join with the others as there was this 2 girls which were between me and the others. I decided to ask them to swap their seats with us. They hesitated at first but decided to help us. We watched Monte Carlo. It was more of a girl's movie than a guy's. I have to admit it is not to bad.

Went to some restaurant after the movie. We played cards as usual. Eventually Sabrina took away all the girls. So me and Yu jing continued till his parents came

Started planning my Sabah trip, I have consulted Lea and Jenkins for help since they are two of my Bumi Putera friends from Borneo. Lea agreed to take me around Kuching. Jenkins said he doesn't mind joining us in Sabah provided he is even going back to Sabah. I asked Hanson to go, but his parents were not willing to let him go.

By the way, some Australian chicks came to my school yesterday. Pretty? RARE. Only about 2-3 were considerable. I was a photographer covering that event. I did not really get the chance to interact with them. At the end of the day, they gave me a few Koala and Kangaroo pen clings, whatever yo wish the call it.

After a whole day in the hall, I returned back to class. They were still having their sex talk. My friends were probably bored to death after so many hours in the class. After school, we had marching. Got scolding from Chuo Shuan, he says that I'm not serious and all. Me, Yu jing and Sabrina went to Tutti Frutti after marching. I went home to get my deck of poker. We played till 5.45pm. Went jogging with Sabrina after that. Honestly, I was unsure what i signed up for. The moment I started jogging I told myself, SHIT I'm not going to last long. After much pushing thinking to myself that it would be embarrassing if I lost to her, I completed 4 rounds. I was half dead by then. My lower back feels the strain while I jog. Probably due to the posture while cycling. When I got home, I just felt like sleeping. Ate a shit load for dinner. My legs were sore =D.

Went to my BM tuition, my grudge towards that teacher has been increasing. Seriously mocking students every week? Came back home. Played the computer briefly. Went out for lunch ( my so called birthday lunch) Went to Sushi Tomo in SS2. I ate this fried fish that wasn't nice. I ordered side dishes of sashimis. Ika(Squid) and one more super awesome fish.

Went to my uncle's place at night. He had a surprise for me. He took out a super old Pentax SLR. Along with 4 lenses. He also had about 5 50mm filters. 1 of which is a Hoya polarizer. He also gave me this set of Nikon stuff. Consists of a Nikon digital camera(super old). Along with a flash gun. A really old one, but a powerful one. It is a bit faulty, but I'm modifying it so that it can run as a slave unit.

Lets see, went to school in the morning. got a number of wishes. Surprised that many ppl remembered it was my birthday. Stepped in the class, classmates sand a song for me. Narul did not wish me, all he asked for was his Transformers 3 tickets. After school I had to stay back for campfire meeting. Learnt how to write a proper proposal. I had to leave early, on my way back, I stumbled upon gabriel and his marching team. Helped him train them for a few minutes, and I was on my way to my grand parent's house. I changed, grabbed my camera and took off. I cycled at a steady pace, I took exactly 7 minutes 11 seconds to reach Tropicana City mall from Sahara.

Went straight to the cinema. Disturbed Marn Keon, asked him why wasn't he in the meeting. When Yew Han and Cheryl went into the theather hall, I went out to get some drinks. I cahnged my mind and went back in. I was lost, I did not know where they sat. I saw Marn Keon(At least it looks like him) staring at the screen. I went at the back of him and slapped him really hard. He was disorientated for a second or two. then he continued staring at the screen like nothing has happened. Had lunch at Ninja Joe. Cycled home and prepared for night.

Cycled to Sabrina's house. We went to pick Chuo Shuan up, then we walked to Taman Bahagia. Took a train to KLCC. Chuo shuan was obsessed with NinJump. Stopped at KLCC, had dinner. Went to Crumpler shop and Canon shop. Then we rushed to the park to take some pictures. I attempted a plank on a fire hydrant, not only i hurt my groints, I fell off it, and almost rip my pocket.

Chuo shuan was complaining that he will not follow us anymore. In order to satisfy him, he has been granted 'Ahli Aktif' post in the SOXP photography club. hahahaha

Guess what I did today? I went for a day trip to Malacca, the historical city. I did not look forward for this trip at all. I went with my mom's company, a bunch of oldies. Well my main agenda to go there is to know the streets well in order to bring my friends there next time. First thing we did was ride a boat on the 45 minute long Malacca River to-and-fro. It was as boring as HELL. After that we went to Jonker's street. My hopes were down after seeing such a long line at the all so famous chicken rice. In the end I did not even get to eat any. Wasn't my day at all, really boring trip. Not even a single good picture. BAD!

Weee! I'm as happy as a child that just got candy. That is because my dad just bought me a new toy! Yes that's right a TOY, at least that is what I call it. He bought me a 500GB Transcend USB 3.0 2.5" External/ Portable Hard Disk, I actually wanted him to buy me an internal one since mine is almost at it's limit. Well he bought the exact same design as my 320GB Portable Hard Disk which happens to be my favourite design. The cables are super thick, most probably its because it is USB 3.0

Woke up at 4.10am because I did not want to sleep over at Chuo Shuan's place since I expected them to sleep really late and I was really tired. I was asked to go buy Roti Canai. I had to wait for quite a while for it. By the time I got to Chuo Shuan's place, I was late. We then took off to Bukit Tabur, Taman Melawati. This is not the first time, I climbed bukit Tabur once. I expected it to be as tough as last time but this time, it was for of a photography trip. We stopped several times just to take pictures. I attempted HDR but I failed. Maybe I should upgrade to Photoshop CS5 ,since CS4's HDR is not as good as CS5. I'm still having my focusing problem, which is not being able to focus on the object that I want. So back to bukit tabur, I made a tiny error at the first rope causing me to slip and swing like Tarzan. I also dropped my tripod when I was using it. I accidentally kicked it down. It rolled down the hill but thankfully, there was a bush to stop it. We went to a mamak store after Tabur. I actually tried mamak rice for the first time in my life. I have to tell you that store SUCKED. The rice was uncooked. Anyway, I did not have youth at DUMC that Saturday. So i actually slept through out the afternoon.

Went to the Japanese Embassy today. When i woke up i really didn't feel like going. I was super duper tired. I reached Chuo Shuan's place at 7.45am. I called him but he did not answer. Rang his doorbell and it did not work too. I decided to chill at Pelita and plan to give it another shot later. He finally answered. So I waited for him to shower and get dressed. His mother was nice enough to send us to Assunta School ( our meeting point) .There, we met another member of Joint Venture from Sultan Abdul Samad. Jonathan and his dad picked us up not long after we arrived. He sent us to a mamak in Kuala Lumpur. We had a drink there before making our way to the japanese. We had to go through those airport-like scanners before being able to enter the embassy. We were then brought into this meeting room. We met up with the japanese and passed the cash that we raised to them. A total sum of RM3000. After that, Jonathan's dad fetched us back to assunta. There, me and Chuo Shuan concluded that we screwed up our first impression to the others as we were to tired to impress. We then had to walk all the way to Taman Jaya from Assunta. I was really tired by then. Chuo shuan decided to try to reload cash into his IC via Touch N' Go. His money ended up stuck in the machine, we had to go all the way to the Touch N' Go headquaters at KL Sentral. Wasted my time.

Went for to escort Shane Wong, a scout friend from sarawak, around the city of Kuala Lumpur. Our first stop was Petaling Street. We did not spend much time there, we found our way to BP House, also known as the scout headquarters in malaysia. We then went to Mid Valley shopping mall as well as Gardens. Spend most of our time there. We had our lunch in Sushi King and dessert at Moo Cow which is something like Tutti Frutti. Shane insisted on going in to the 5-dollar-toilet. He wanted to experience it. According to him, he wasn't as pleased as expected.

Here is the funny part. The women working at the counter in the toilet was really a bitch. Yen lin was taking a picture of a signboard infront of the women and the women threatened to call security on us. After all the hassle of explaining to her, we jsut walked off. If I were to encounter such a thing, I will make her go back home without a smile on her face.

After that we continued walking around Mid Valley, we went to this pet show exhibition which was quite boring except the fact that they had exotic pets. We then moved on to the KLCC Twin Towers. We were actually hoping to get a good picture of the twin tower but sadly it was raining and it was super hot. We then decided to go to Petaling Street again in order to eat the Wan Tan Mee. Bought some cookies there which are awesome

Just came back form 1belia jamboree. I have to say, it sucked really badly. Not something i expected, most of the booths or so called activities aren't for us to take part but just to watch. All of us from my troop were forced forced to go for voluteery work which actually defeats the meaning of volunteer. Another thing was the toilet. It was really like those village old school style showering place. A tank outside and pails, u scoop the water and pour it on yourself, literally. The toilet bowls were out of water, couldn't flush any of it.

First day was really like hell, most of us got sun burned. It was difficult to sleep at night because the others were noisy. But honestly, while we were setting up our tent, I really thought it was going to be better, seeing helicopters flying around, paragliders gliding and much more. The only good thing about this jamboree is the fact that we met a few people that went for hong kong jamboree. We got to know more people from other troops, but not many.

Super junior M came on the last night. Their performance were below my expectations, it was really boring at some point. Almost fell asleep during the performance then i remembered I was holding my DSLR. One thing standed out during the concert is we had CHAIRS. Chairs were provided but people didn't sit for long, as soon as Super Junior M came out, barely anyone was standing.

Haven't been updating lately, at first it was blogger's problem for crashing, eventually i got lazy. Anyway, I'll be letting u guys know what I've been up to lately. I updated my phone from Android 2.1 to Android 2.2(Froyo). At first I downloaded the Asian version. After installing it into my phone, the default language was Chinese, and the touch screen wasn't responsive. So I installed the European version. I was hesitating at first because the box clearly stated that it is an Asian model( I5503) and not the European( I5500). But I decided to give it a try anyway. After finishing, the default language was Spanish, successfully changed it to English. Everything works fine except for the battery, I have to charge it pretty often.

For today, I wasted a day in school. It was really BORING. Got back a few results. So far so bad. Still, I couldn't be bothered. When I stepped into my home, my phone was ringing. Sir Alwin wanted to drop a 'sample' haversack off at my place. It is a pretty decent one. I feel like buying it, but since I already have one, I am not going to.

Damn, my brother told my mother that Declan's dad almost knock me down while cycling. But let me get this straight, I was aware that his dad was making that turning, so YES I know what I was doing.

Exams are finally over, but I couldn't be bothered. I felt super dumb during the KH paper. Because i know almost what is coming out for half of the paper but i refused to study, Consequences when you are lazy. Lets see, I doubt i will get an A for my science, screwed it up also by not studying. In fact the only thing I studied is Sejarah. Let me tell you, Sejarah was REALLY though especially the form 1 and 2 questions, form 3 was just pie.

Lets see, my hopes of getting at least 4 'A's this round is gone. But as I say I couldn't be bothered. Messed around even more today, really excited for the 1 Belia Jamboree at Putrajaya. In fact I got even more excited when i found out that Super Junior is going. I'm not really a fan of them but still it is something. Most definitely I'm going to bring my DSLR. But my main concern is what if it rains.

While I was studying, I decided to take a break by doing what i use to do during my childhood, which was to play with candles.I play normally light the candle and put it in the aroma burner I usually like to light candle and leave the the match on the candle, so when the wax melts, the match will also burn continuously. I went upstairs and my maid got me to come down, when i went down to the candle, I saw the water boiling and I saw the entire candle light up as in, it got so hot that the wax vapour could ignite. Never knew it could happen in such low temperatures. I tried blowing it but it is impossible to blow off this type of fires. I told my maid not to pour water into it because I remembered that if you pour water, the water will get to the bottom and since it is so hot, it will boil so rapidly that it will push the wax upwards about maybe 2-3 feet?. If that happens, the wax vapour will ignite and we will have a fireball. At that time my maid was in panic mode. Could see the looks in her face and a wobbling legs, it was annoying because the amount of gibberish she was spilling out that time was clouding my mind. I knew that a ABC powder fire extinguisher uses powder to put of fire and it is suitable for these types of fire, but mine was out of gas. So I decided to use talcum power instead! When the fire and powder mixed, it actually became like the fire from an ignited deodorant spray. Eventually, the fire went off. My dad was like: wow! I never knew powder could put of fire.

I wasn't going to update till I'm done with mid year examinations but i just had to after watching a video on facebook. The video has been re-uploaded several times, it is also widely shared all over facebook. In this video, a bunch of bullies from SMK Raja Abdullah harassed and victimized a fellow student. They done what it seems like cutting this poor girl's hair, attempting to strangle her and hitting her violently with books. This video seems to 'fresh'. Could be uploaded within this week or something. Some people even created a Fan Page for the which seem to be the one who is harassing the other girl the most. The fan page got well over 40k 'LIKES' in a matter of hours. A few people has already been identified from the video

Got up 2.30am today. Washed up and waited for Vincent Tan to come get me from my house. We went to Pelita at SS2 to meet up with the rest before heading off to Bukit Tabur. Eventually, we got lost. But we finally manage to get to the hill at 5.15am. The first 40 minutes of hiking was pretty much HELL. Super duper tiring, legs were aching. Vincent was using Alwin's head lamp. It was a halogen yellow light head lamp, he dropped it down the hill of never return. We stopped at the so called 'second peak' To watch the sun rise. We had the view of both the city side, and the mountain side where the sun would rise.

Unfortunately for us, it was way to foggy to see the sun rise. The fog sinking down the mountain reminded me of a waterfall. We cooked maggi mee and cam whored at the place where we stopped. Took pictures with our scout uniform on too. For some reason, yew leung, alwin and vincent lim decided to take off their shirt just to take some pictures, well the pictures turned out good.

Finished most of my water halfway through the trip. Almost slipped off while climbing one of those quartz walls. I reached out to grab a higher rock, end up i twisted my left hand. It was one of those, 'not-okay-also-must-be-okay situations' I was actually in quite a lot of pain. But I just had to continue on, didn't even have a choice.

While coming down hill, most kept falling over due to the slippery and instable ground. Went for lunch at a ba ku teh shop at aman suria. I usually don't eat ba ku teh but I was super hungry after that climb.

Pretty boring in school today, Darren and Benjamin tried to speak in hindi. We came to know that Cik Smisa knows hindi when she smiled while they were trying to communicate in hindi. I just came back from a Barbecue hosted by someone from DUMC, I was invited by Cheryl Tham. It was not a bad Barbecue except the fact that it is new school, unlike the up-coming old school class Barbecue which I will be hosting. Did not eat much today compared to other Barbecues. Oh yea, I almost forgot. I went Starbucks this evening with my mom. There was 50% Discount for all drinks sold. Bought 2 frappuccinos for the price of one, which is 15 bucks (Venti). The queue was quite long too, had to wait almost 15 minutes for my turn.

First thing I did in school was pull Sarah's plants out and put it in other pots, of course with her conscent. Manage to study some Form 1 History while skipping PJK. After recess, a freak accident happened. I was showing Sarah how I position and adjust the calculator in place so that I could see reflection of the people behind me. But I did it so fast that the calculator flew out from its cover, hit the fan and went straight for Aaron's face. See Aaron! This is karma for messing with me this morning. Just Kidding, I apologized to Neshan because the calculator was his and of course to Aaron who did not believed what just happened. It Was Just Freaky.

Wont be blogging as much as before due to Mid-term examination. If you were to ask me whether I am ready for the examination, I would answer HELL NO. Just started studying. Going to read through Form 1 History tonight. School was pretty much boring, I helped Darren with his woodcraft/ project. I used an innovative way to attach his top of the project to the bottom. Wasted some cash at Esso just to chill after school. Saw Andreas and King Foo ditching school.

Over slept for my 5-o-clock tuition. Woke up at 5.30pm, so I studied. Went for tuition at 7.45pm. Had supper after tuition with my mom. Went to this place called 'Sweet Bean' it is either the food really suck there or I have high standards for chinese desserts. The Red Bean Soup was pretty much shit. Never going to places like that to eat ever again. Sticking with Mcdonalds.

It has been days since i updated. Had a minor ~~test taking~~ Knots refreshment session. Charmaine was complaining about how uncomfortable it is to wear a shirt for this activity, so I decided to borrow her my T-shirt that i kept in the den ever since I had a drawer. Not really a fan of lending and borrowing shirts to and with others so do not come around finding me to get my shirt for pjk.

Lets see what we did in class today. Most of our teachers were absent as usual, my plant was like the greenest and liveliest plant compare to the others. Maybe that's because i bring it out to the sun everyday?

In the evening i was feeling bored and reckless, wanted to sleep but i was afraid i will have a hard time sleeping at night therefore i decided to go to the POLICE STATION. I asked the first policemen i see in the office. He gave me the What-Do-U-Want stare or maybe it was like What-In-The-World-Are-You-Doing-Here stare... I asked him for the station's phone number along with the fire-station's number. He immediately said 999. Then I said I want the station number! He opened a file and asked me to wait a couple of minutes. At the end, I left the station happily with both police and fire brigade's number. For those of you who are wondering, I need the numbers for a scout test. (Maju)

I took a leisure walk in the Pasar Malam, bought a torch that Kincheng ask me to get for him, saw Tuck Yan while walking. I was actually hoping to get those Allen Key Wrench for my bicycle because the handle is super loose, but it was sold out. So yea, it was pretty disappointing

Ah, sweet smell of a Saturday morning. Oh wait, classes are on. Woke up 6.40am today compare to the usual 6.15am. Went to school, and as usual Pn Azfahani did not come in for science during the first period. We saw the students from the other class rushing to the field for PJK. Assuming that it is alright, guys from our class went to the field too. We started noticing Mr. Zul giving us the what-are-you-doing-here stare. We hesitated to play for awhile, but we ignored it and resume minutes later. Eventually Mr. Zul came over to talk to En. Hanafiah. So Mr. Zul gave his lecture, thankfully he wasn't in a bad mood. He gave us 30 push-ups and that is it.

All i did during class was, completing previous homework. Wanted to go bouldering after school but didn't turned out. I'm still considering whether I should go to Sabrina's church.

I went in to class before class start to plant my seeds(science project). I improvised by replacing cotton with tissue paper, i tore them into shreds and place them neatly into a container so it looked like cotton. Added water into it and planted my seeds.We had a reversal for friday's award receiving event. We had to stay in the hall from 7.30 till recess! It is a really waste of time. Went to class after recess, as usual got some comments form puan chin that i am not attentive in class. After that we had KH, we had to walk all the way to the workshop. When i got there, En Narul asked me to get an apron since i did not have one. Had to run all the way to a random class to borrow from others. What i did during KH was random stuff like hammering pieces of wood till it splits since i have nothing better to do.

When I came back home, i actually tested my solar oven, but sadly it rained half way so I only got to quarter cook an egg. At night, after tuition, I went Tutti Fruiti with my mom for the my very first time. I have to admit it is not bad, but for that price i would go for Baskin Robins. I am going to add ' working at Tutti Frutti' to my bucket list, because I saw workers refilling their mugs with the frozen yogurt without paying, and I love stuff for FREE

Recently, to be exact yesterday, I got faceraped, as in SOMEONE posted random stuff on my facebook wall with my account. Which is causing some scandalous shit now

Hello my readers, I was really bored this afternoon so i decided to make a SOLAR OVEN! I got the idea from the senior scouts. I used an old styrofoam box which i found in school, laying at a corner ready for disposal, I got the sheet of glass from a previously failed solar oven, I got cardboard from 99-speedmart, The only thing i had to spend money on is for the foil and tape.

Started off by wrapping the inside of the box with foil, the reason i did that is because i thought it will act like an emergency blanket, reflecting the heat back into the box. Next, I pasted a few sheets of black paper, so that it will absorb light and not reflect it back out of the box. I also cut a window on the cover of the box to allow light to come in. I sealed the window with a sheet of glass.

I haven't test it yet, but judging by the condition of it, it will most likely fail because, it is a fairly big box, the bigger the box, the logger it takes to pre-heat. Also, the window of the oven is kinda small for it size thus, allowing lesser light into the oven. The biggest screw up is, when under hot sun, the foil on the sheets of cardboard expands therefore, crumbles which causes light to reflect at all directions

Amazingly all our teachers came today. We had a math test on the first period, and I have to tell you, this time I almost skipped my paper 2! I spent so much time on paper 1 thinking there is no paper 2, until approximately the last 8 minutes, I knew about the existence of paper 2!

I noticed my class is slowly getting noisier each day, it is hard to control them nowadays. I do talk too so yea, cant do much D=. I went out of the class for many official reasons several times between moral and bm period.

Had test taking session(scouts) after school. After that, I stayed back along with others to clean the den. Found rotten onions and potatos filled with maggots in the kitchen, full of maggots. At that moment, I realized what Bear Grylls has to go through just to survive in the jungle.

When I opened the den's door to through the rotten food outside, water started flowing everywhere, the whole of outside was begining to flood, our shoes got wet too. Took some awesome pictures of the so called waterfall that was forming on the steps.

As soon as I got home, I was so relieved. I was really tired earlier. When i check my inbox, Vincent Tan sent me a message regarding some permission to use the class room which I had to settle when I was in school. I thought I was really screwed, so I went on Facebook to find Encik Razman's name and I added him as a friend, I told him about the classrooms. Now, at least i got that burden off my back =D.

Went 1 Utama after that since I've been dying to watch Source Code. No regret watching it, officially the best movie of 2011!

Did some crazy shit in class yesterday like throwing paper balls really hard at each other, jumping over tables and riding tables. Today, I manage to finish up my math homework before Pn Chin walked in, manage to distribute all the letters to every patrol leader(scouts). I also got to write a letter to the kadet polis to borrow 5 compasses for the coming troop meeting on saturday, I will get confirmation by tomorrow. This is the first time in my life I wrote a formal letter. Stayed back for scout meeting and leo meeting, was super tired when i got home. But today felt good, the fact that I settled most of my work except kerja kursus. =D

I'm just going to blog about today really quickly as I have to sleep any moment soon. We had inter-class debate competition in my class today. The government was my class, 3 Cempaka versus the opposition, 3 Bunga Raya. The fact that this event was held in our class, home to the government, made it seem unfair for the opposition as they did not get the support that they were suppose to get. Sadly in life, it is always unfair so deal with it.

I came home today, was awaiting a call from stanley or charmaine since they asked me to stay back to finish up a report. Due to the lack of communication we had, i only went back to school at 2.pm, partially my fault. When i got home after the report was completed, I realize that it is 4.10pm. Suddenly, I had the urge to go for math tuition, so i took a nap till 4.55pm and head of to tuition. When i walked in Edusmart, i was shocked to see Chee Kong, Leo and Eugene in the class. And as soon as i sat down, I realize that the things written on the board were science. So I asked Leo, what class is this. And he replied science. I was stunned, the next question that spilled form my mouth is, what day is today. Only then, I knew that today is a freaking Monday not Wednesday!(I am suppose to replace my math class by attending Wednesday's lesson). Its a Saturday, and yes we do have to go to school. As usual like all Saturdays, atendence of my class is good compared to other classes. Most of our teachers as usual, did not teach. excluding arts and science. We went up to the APD room during english period to finish up the movie that we watched half way about a month ago. Bing Xi had it from Pn Surita, her true colors imerged when Bing Xi used his phone in the class. At that moment, I was telling my self, what if she had a spot check on the spot.

After school, me and Hanson stayed back to eat, and we went of to Taman Bahagia station. We took a train to Wangsa Maju, I slept throughout the journey since it was almost 50minutes. We got there, ate somemore and started climbing! Only after 5 attempts of climbing, I was already super tired. Rest for awhile and I continued, did not achieve much today. By the way, the rates for climbing in Mad Monkeyz increased. For new members, they have to pay a registration fees and entry fees totaling up to 38 bucks.

Went to my granny's house after rock climbing, had dinner there. After that, I tagged along with my parents and my brother to One Utama to buy a pair of New Balance shoes. Apparently, they had stock for the 578 series(elements) I own one pair of the wood element. They were selling the water element, it was the last pair. I wanted to buy it, but i changed my mind. I bought a classic 500 series shoe. Not for sports but for casual.

Oh not to forget, I ordered this shutter remote a few days ago from ebay. Arrived in my mail today, and guess what? it is not compatible with my 60D!

Another boring day at school. This week, most of my teachers that are suppose to enter my class are abscent, we learnt almost nothing this week. Not surprise if i fail one or two subjects for mid-year. My studies are getting really bad. After school, we scouts had test taking session. I am not too sure about the others, but i sure know that i wasn't prepared for much. Right now, all i do is spin sticks, not study, not scout stuff but spin sticks. kind of lifeless don't you think so?

1 April (Kem Muafakat)

Finally the 3-week-camp-marathon is over. I have participated 3 camps for the pass 3 weeks. This is the final camp. The objective of kem muafakat is to bring all uniform bodies together and learn from each other. The hosts for this year was by the red crescent. They actually did a good job hosting the camp except some parts that were unorganized, the fact that we have to wait.

We got to skip school on friday for camp. We left the school about 8.30 if i am not mistaken. As soon as we got there, we unloaded the bus and started pitching our tents. The first tent that me and my tent mates received was a few parts short. It was a poncho-style tent, a few poles were missing so we swapped tents. We received this super small tent that was equally screwed up. The tent was super tiny, the flysheet wasn't for that tent and the graphite stick did not even come with the tent. So what we had to do is improvise. We did not connect the flysheet to the tent, it is pecked into the ground, a carabinner was used to elevate the flysheet

After pitching the tents, we were divided into our game group, we were given 15 minutes to come out a group name and a group cheer. My group was not bad in games but a little tak-semangat for Malam Kebudayaan.
We went for jungle trekking at 3.00pm, it was really fun. I don't recall any scouts getting bitten by any leeches. We had infrared on the first night. Apparently, the teachers framed up something, they 'kidnapped' chee kong and fatih without telling us. Making us believe that they were missing.

The next day, we had activities like learning from other uniform bodies and station games. At night, we had this thing called Muafakat Airline, it is something like the 'Amazing Race'. Before that, we had our Malam Kebudayaan, traditionally it is a time when everyone gather around the campfire and simply just have fun. But this time, we had the camp fire outside the hall. Did I mention, i got the honor to start the campfire, how fantastic is that? I started it 1 hour before the actual event(6.30pm), I expected the wood from the jungle to burn slowly as the jungle is always wet. My estimation was very far off. It took me just 5 minutes to start burning log size wood, I had to control and monitor the fire really closely, ensuring that we have enough fire wood till 11 pm. In the end the fire continue burning till 3am.

Most of the guys slept in the hall the second night. It was really hot in the tents. After finishing night guard at 2.00am, i went to sleep. It felt like only minutes of sleep having to wake up at 6.00am. We cleaned up the campsite, packed everything up and left at 12.00pm. My conclusion for this camp, This is one of those camp that you have to go, you get to experience what does a facilitated jungle feels like, and it is very leisure compared to scout camps with almost no sleep at all.

First night of scout camp began on Friday. Our first activity was a lecture (Road To King Scout). After that, we had knots and lashing session. We all did square, diagonal and tripod lashing. Those who knew had to teach those who did not know how to do. After that, we had to construct a model of a tripod using bamboo sticks and thread. Many find it difficult as the thread was really thin. We moved on to plaster cast after the time was up. Unlike last year, they were provided with bowls to do their plaster cast on unlike last year, we had to do it on the ground. We were actually suppose to build a poncho and to sleep in it, but the plan sort of fail. They continued their tripod right after plaster cast. Most of them went to sleep right after it, but some of them did not even finish the tripod. 4 of us, Liteng, Charmaine, Stanley and I stayed up all night to pass one of our test that involves cooking for 2 people. We cooked a total of 6 dishes including drinks which are, chicken flavoured rice, cabbage, fried salted fish, ABC soup, bannock and chocolate malt drink. My favourite dish to prepare is bannock, firstly because of it's simplicity. Secondly, it is fun to prepare the dough. We got an average rating of 3.5 points over 5 points for every dish.

Right after we present the food, my night guard duty started. We did not even get to clean everything up and we had to start our night guard duty. My patrol came down half an hour late, so we had to face the punishments. We could not finish our knot board due to the lack of time. Next thing we had after night guard is morning exercise. It was at 6.00am. After morning exercise, we had morning inspection. I received punishments from being so 'isolated' from the rest. We then did marching for an hour before learning how to sharpen a machete and an axe. We cooked our lunch using the 'backwoodsman' technique.The idea of Backwoodsman is to use everything we can get naturally to cook, which means no using any canister or wok to cook. What i did for my patrol was wrap the egg and potato in mud. I wet the mud balls in some water and threw it into the fire. Leaving it inside to cook. The others Barbequed the chicken over the fire.

When time was almost up, our dishes looked like crap. But we made an epic come back thanks to andrew. He helped us decorate our dish so it was much more presentable, in the end our patrol won. After lunch, we continued the camp by building an hourglass. An hourglass is actually 2 tripods connected to each other. By the time we finished building and dismantling the tripod, we were late for dinner. We had to rush for dinner and went for the scout night(campfire) activity. This year, we had the scout night with the girl guides because our both camps falls on the same date. Since our patrol wasn't together at all times, we did not have the time to plan a performance for scout night. So what we did was, we went out there and demonstrated 'father abraham song'. After all the fun and joy we had, we moved on to open talk session. Most people just criticize Raymond. I know he is blur and everything, but have you ever give a second thought about yourself?

Survival night was carried out right after open talk. The main goal for survival night was to create a shelter from sticks and flysheet, start a fire to cook maggi mee and coffee, to send morse code messages to other patrols. My patrol was actually the slowest at first maybe it is because we were isolated from the rest as we were up the hill and away from light. But we manage to start a fire and build a shelter in no time.

We went to bed after survival night and it was around 4am. First time sleeping in 2 days feels really good. We woke up really late, about 7.30am for flagbreak at 8.00am. After clean up and everything, the time was 12.30pm. We had our flagbreak and the camp ended.

Roar! Lost my voice completely!

Stayed back for blue house today for volleyball. I was told that i am playing, but i was some how drafted to the bench. Someone said that I would be playing the second half but i didn't get to. T.T Wasted my whole afternoon when i could actually finish up my annual camp work. !

17 March (Kapas)

Just came back from OPC camp. We went to Pulau Kapas and Tasik Kenyir ( Terengganu). It took a while to get there. about 9 hours by bus. We gathered in school at 5.15am on the 12th. We stopped at the Genting pit stop beside the Karak highway to have our breakfast. Most of us went to Mcdonalds that was available. Our next stop was in Kuantan Where we had our lunch at a mamak shop. After our lunch we helped ourselves by taking a walk in the market that was in Kuantan. Nothing really caught my interest except for the flashlights and lasers, but i can easily get all of those for a better price online.

We continued our journey to Marang ( Jeti to go kapas). It rained like cats and dogs. In the end we couldn't take a boat to Pulau Kapas due to the time and high tides. We then spend a night in a local dorm which we think it is haunted. The dorm is really neat, it is also decent in terms of hygiene. We took a bath before heading for dinner at the next door restaurant. I actually woke up like 4 something in the middle of the ngiht just to unplug bryan's phone and to use his charger. I woke up at 6.10am(i thought it was 7.10, my phone's clock went one hour ahead) and went to brush my teeth. While brushing my teeth I saw this figure standing by the door, first thing came into my mind was oh cool i can see ghosts, second thing is oh wait it is a person. End up, it was sir. He asked me why so early? Then a gain i thought it was 7.10 because of my phone.

We had breakfast near the jeti and head of to kapas. Boat ride was bumpy, first thing we did in kapas was pitching the tents. There was so many spiders around! got a bit of sun burn on the shoulder. played volleyball at evening time. went swimming in the ocean.

the third day, we went snorkling but sadly for us, we do not have a clear view of the sea floor. Boo Kean and friends dug tunnels/holes that connect to each other underground. Really cool. At night, me and Bryan got sent to bed early just because we ask Matthew if we could sleep. Reverse Psychology.

We left kapas in the afternoon and went to Tasik Kenyir. The bus was awesome! It was a one and a half hour drive there. When we got there, it was pretty misty and cooling. We went to 2 islands located on the lake, we took shots of tongkat ali in one island and enjoyed the waterfall in the other island. I observe the guys playing frisbee, I also took some sun set pictures which were not so successful.

The next day, we went for water safety, put on our life jackets and swam in the lake. It was kind of scary knowing that the arapaima gigas lives in the lake and is resposible for 2 deaths in the year of 2009. Played dodge ball and frisbee after that too. Broke my finger nail while playing captain ball D=. After we dose off, a massive down pour occurs. My tent mates started waking up when we heard other people running out of their tent because it flooded. Well, we were still doing good, our tent still quite dry, but we decided to move out anyways. By the time we got to shelter it was 3.am. We stayed up till the next day, awaiting for a long trip back home.

It is a day that only comes by once a year in my school, it is CANTEEN DAY! Every since i got into the school, i never actually had a decent canteen day. Always have bad memories about this day, but yet i was looking forward for this year. I decided i will not continuously manage a store to the point i do not have time for myself. So what i did this year was forget about the scout store. I did photography duty by taking pictures of the event. Sadly, my G2 PowerShot camera ran out of battery so i had to use my A580 Powershot which does not have the hotshoe so i could use my speedlight. Life went on anyway. I didn't each much during morning session. But during afternoon session i had to eat more to compensate my lunch! Everything sold at that time was either salty or sweet. everything was so rich in taste. Including the drinks! I end up buying the Nasi Lemak sold by the librarians. It was expensive but thank god it was available.

It has been awhile ever since i updated my blog. I'm just too busy with scout stuff to the point that i do not have time for my own studies. Lets see what i have done in the pass week. I ordered a new LED Drop-in (bulb) for my Ultrafire WF-501B flashlight from DealExtreme . I ordered this super cool knife card from e-bay. Will be getting my Eos 600D soon after 2 years of saving =D. I also will be attending a camp in Pulau Kapas, Terengganu, next week. I also will be attending the scout's annual camp in school on the 26th of march. Best of all I will be attending the 'Kem Muafakat', litterally means United Camp. I do not really know what to pack for this week's camp, I never actually camped on a beach before.

Tomorrow is canteen day, I did not order much. I have to do my duty as a photographer and to help out the scout's booth. I am not really willing to share any pictures to the editorial board since what happened the other day, but I will do it anyways.

Hello loyal blog readers! it has been awhile since i updated. As some of you may know it, today is the founders day of scouting and guiding. We actually celebrate this event in my school. We are told to wear full- uniform and to fall in at the field by morning. We had a combined flag break ceremony with the girl guide. It met my expectations. After that we actually head on to the exhibition that all of us spent so much time and effort on setting it up. I have to say despite the last minute work, it was still presentable. We actually got 2 scouts( I also helped) to cook up batches of honey chicken for the guest that took their time to come to the exhibition. When it was clean up time, the shittiest time of the day, we had to race against time because it was going to rain. In the end, it rained and everything got wet anyway. When i came home, my father gave me a new maxis broadband modem. The reason why i asked him to get it is because there was an offer that if you are a loyal customer to maxis, you are entitled to get the broadband with a monthly fair usage of 3Gb for the price of a 1 Gb package =D

It has been awhile since i have touched my blog, i wanna dedicate this post to Edmira School of Success also known as the host that made Future of Success well, SUCCESSFUL! I also want to give credit to my friend Li Yen and her dad that were willing to fetch us there.

A number of students from my class signed up for this seminar. We actually met up at SS2 Mcdonalds and car pooled to Sunway College. We actually arrived really early because we were actually afraid that if we went on time, we would have a place that is far from the stage. So while we were waiting we actually socialized with other students from other schools.

Minutes before 10, the registration counter was open for registration. We wasted no time, we queued up accordingly. We manage to get a place not far from the stage, about 4 chairs away.

The seminar started off smoothly, first one on stage were Lim Chee Wei and Tan Yee Ming who were cheerleaders themselves. They are now part of the committee of The Cheer leading Association and Register of Malaysia (CHARM). The program was followed by a cheer performance featuring team 'Awesome'. After that, we had Prof. Dato. Dr. Chin See Keat , the founder of England Optical Group to share his secrets of success with us. What really amazed me is that fact that he was only given a small amount of capital to start of a company which became so well-known all around the world. He reminded us to ' Be your best, Be your own boss! He told us to have a dream and to target it, do our very best to accomplish it. Through his story, i find Dr. Chin very innovative for replacing an expensive chair specially for the examination of the eye with a more affordable barber's chair. He also told us that it is never easy, he had to go through hard times to be who he is today. I could only imagine little of what he described to us, but i still understand what he was trying to tell us which is to be who you want to be.

The next thing on the program was a forum titled 'The Success Story' between Eddie Lim, Mr. Saiful Nang and Mr. Yeoh Chen Chow.Mr Yeoh is winner of the Asian Youth Ambassador 2009 award, he also believes that today’s youths have the ability and passion to make a different and improved Malaysia. Mr Yeoh is well known to many youths today, he have given numerous talks in other schools all around Malaysia. What really inspired me was Mr Saiful, who was the Winner of the Asian Youth Ambassador 2010 award, he is currently the CEO of Colours of Asia Sdn Bhd. As a fan of photography myself, he inspired me to work to my dreams and improve my skills. His childhood was full with adventures most of which i cant describe with words. He achieved to create a 'Hotel', 'Zoo' and offered catering services at the age of 8. I actually read numerous books about other's childhood bio graph which includes Dr. Mahathir and Tun Razak, yet i find find Mr. Saiful's description of his childhood interesting. It would be great if it was published. Mr Saiful and Mr Yeoh proven to us that we can work to our own dreams doing what we like and being who we are.

Next, we had Dr. Christopher Wong to teach us strategies of learning and how does our brain work. Among all of the programs that day, I really think that Dr Christopher's program was the most interesting.If i had to choose between sitting down in class for an hour or listening to Dr Christopher for a whole day, i would definitely choose Dr Christopher. He really did his homework on getting a teenager's attention, something which teachers nowadays are lack off. He conducted his lecture really well by using numerous hand gestures, a sense of humor and his theory about repeating the first word use in a sentence. We all learnt about the parts of the brain which are upper,lower,left and right. He actually taught us much much more. He had all sort of fancy phrases and lines which were ' If you fail to plan, you plan to fail' , 'Control is success, success is control', 'Genius(success) is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration(sweat,work)' and 'Good beginning equals to a good ending'.He also told us not to be selfish and to help our friends by teaching them what we have learnt. Basically, his talk was full of energy and emotions, get what I mean??

We had a lunch break not too long after his speech. I had the vegetarian Nasi Lemak which was great it strongly supports the motto 'Go Green, Be Vegan' which was mention towards the end of the seminar. We had entertainment during the break too. A 14-minute-long Taekwondo performance was presented to us. The performance was awesome, yo can see them kicking apples off knifes, breaking boards and kicking each other's butt. How often do you get to see this for FREE? My friend Neshan actually got a piece of board that flew from the stage which he used it as a signature drive board. I'm pretty sure he got every single speaker's signature.

Next, we had another forum from our Malaysian olympians who were Ms Che Chew Chan, Ms Khoo Cai Lin and Mr. K.M. Rajendran. These people also reminded us to chase after our dreams. They have proven it to us with their sportsmanship representing our nation and making us proud to be a Malaysian countless times. What caught my attention was Ms Khoo which went through a difficult lifestyle only coming back home on the weekends. Things were not getting better for her at that time, in fact it got worst after finding out about the seperation of her parents. The fact that her training routine were distributed, having to stop and cry at the side of the pool at times means that it wasn't easy on her. Yet, she never gave up she worked towards her dream and trained really hard.

After all of that talking and speeches, finally there is some form of entertainment besides the Taekwondo performance. The next speaker or should i say performer was Ms Amber Chia. She actually had to rush from a competition held in Korea the day before just to make it for this seminar.She is an international model. Her English wasn't the best but we could all understand what she was trying to say. What caught my attention was when she state that everyone is not beautiful with out make-up. I have to disagree with it because i think everyone is beautiful in their own way but i have to say that statement will help some boost their self-confidence. She introduced her business partner, Benjamin Toong, who was her coach for catwalk. She also brought along her students who contributed to the catwalk display on that day.

People actually started leaving the hall as soon as Ms Amber Chia stepped down the stage. These people actually missed the video clip that was showed to raise awareness of pollution and our environment. The video actually encourages us to 'go green and be vegan'. I never really knew that being vegetarian is part of the 'go green' movement. We had a lucky draw after the video clip, I was actually feeling lucky that day but i didn't win anything, probably luck will bring me a step closer to the Ipad. Once again I would like to thank everyone that was involve, the speakers, Sunway College and not forgetting Edmira School of Success for making 'Youth world' seminar a success. I have to admit, I learnt more than i expected to.

As you guys know it, I left for hong kong on the 26th of december. I had trouble sleeping on the night of 25th december due the the party my nieghbour threw. Technically i didn't sleep. my flight was 6.35am. I left my house at about 3.45am. Met the others there, had Mcdonalds and boarded the flight. i was so so so..... air sick. When i was going to the toilet, i met the co-pilot. He was really nice. he offered to let me in the cock-pit when we were in hong kong. Got his signature on a barf-bag which i misplaced.

When I was walking in the extension bridge from the plane to the airport, i felt a gust of wind. Honestly I did not expect hong kong to be that cold. We got our bags and met up with the hong kong scouts. We left the airport at 1.00pm and got transfered to tung-tze scout centre in taipo city. When we got transfered to the scout centre, the first thing we did was basketball! We had the clothes that we were wearing in the airport. Oh Em Geeee it was cold as hell after 15 minutes of playing. We ran back and got some proper clothes. Not long after that, I receive a call from the Malaysian scouts, from the point onwards everything was seriously messed up. They wanted our troop to go to BPI(Baden-powell International Hotel). We as minors in hong kong barely know how to get there and they wanted us to take public transport.

What I did was simple, checked with the hong kong side, after i receive confirmation i was confident enough to ignore the Malaysian side. Later that night, we went out to taipo city to have our dinner, we went to Mc-Donalds and we ate the pork burger there. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. After that, we did some shopping but nothing much catch my interest except a bicycle saddle pouch which i bought.

We went back to the camp site and i was wear 2 jackets, 2 t-shirts and 1 long johns but still i was freezing. we then found out that the temperature that night was 2Celcius.

The next morning we got transfered to the main jamboree campsite, which is in Penny's Bay located at the back of disneyland =D. We were very confuse at first... then we met the Malaysians. at night, we had this super cooool event where they give u 1 pokemon card and u have to find 4 people that shares the same card as you do, in a crowd of 500.

I met this 3 awesome hong kong people which completed all of the games with me. a girl even gave me a woggle after asking if i could trade with her. Had a gooood sleep that night too. woke up at 6am the next day. first thing i heard was the melodic songs from disneyland!!!!!

We had to attend this opening ceremony which i think was kinda pointless and a waste of time. The jamboree activities was available at that time too. first activity i did was archery which i really suck at.

Basically the whole jamboree is about playing the games, activity and meeting other people. on the second night, while we were washing plates, we found a torch and chuo shuan played the role of smart alex, he translated the word 'torchlight' in cantonesse wrongly which ended up as the joke of the jamboree.
